The Jill Martini Soiree is an ensemble specializing in acoustic-based cocktail swing and gypsy jazz.
Gypsy jazz is an acoustic guitar-based style of music that came out of Paris in the 1930’s, made famous by Django Reinhardt. Often vocal, violin, mandolin, or accordion soloists are featured.
The Soiree repertoire includes vocal and instrumental standards, upbeat swings, fiery tangos and bossas, waltzes, and romantic ballads - ideal for dinner, wine tastings, dancing, or your own soiree.
